I'm very curious to know exactly where you found a dual core model with the 250GB HD. A quick look at the 1410 model line on Acer's website shows 10 different configurations. Only the single-core Core 2 Solo and Celeron M equipped netbooks are available with the larger drive.

The 2099, 2285, 2801, and 2936 models that have the SU2300 dual core Celeron chip all have 160GB drives. A thorough search of Amazon, Newegg, and Tigerdirect show this to be the case also.

Is there a full performance comparison? How did it do on the benchmarks? I'm trying to decide between this one and the Asus 1005HA, the advantage of portability or performance, but I haven't seen any benchmark tests for the Acer 1410 (probably because there's no comparable Asus, but still... would be nice to have).

[...] The second choice is if you’re looking for a little beefier netbook then the new dual core Acer 1410 is the best bang for your buck. It features a dual core Pentium (1.2GHz x 2) processor along with 2GB of RAM, 250GB hard drive, Windows 7, 11.6″ screen, and much more. It runs about $399 which is very good considering everything you get. You can read my full review here. [...]
