With all of the recent talk of tablet pc’s lately (Apple, JooJoo, diy, etc) you knew it wouldn’t be long before Asus got in the mix. They are reportedly working on an internet tablet device with a 4 to 7 inch touch screen and that will be something of a hybrid between an MID and a tablet pc.
An industry insider says Asus was inspired by the Apple tablet, but I’m sure it won’t cost $999 like the Apple tablet. I’m also pretty sure that it won’t run OS X, maybe Chrome or even Windows 7 with it’s multi touch capabilities.
No word yet on pricing or availability, but we’ll keep you posted.
