The HP mini 110 has an Intel Atom 1.6GHz processor and 1GB of RAM. It comes with a 3-cell battery which could be its weak point with only 3 hours of battery life (you will probably want to upgrade to a 6 or 9 cell battery). It has a very nice 10.1-inch screen and a 92% keyboard for easy typing. It also has a very light weight probably due to the 3-cell battery. Here are the full specs:
- Intel Atom N270 1.6GHz processor
- 1GB DDR2 RAM
- 10.1-inch 1024×576 LCD display
- 802.11 b/g wifi
- 2.57lbs weight
- Windows XP Home operating system
- 160GB SATA hard drive
- 3 cell battery with 3 hour battery life
Another downside on this netbook is that it comes pre-loaded with a lot of bloatware but this is easily solved by removing it. Besides its few weakpoints this netbook remains a very solid choice and it’s available for $299 here. You can also get the new Windows 7 version (which I recommend) for $339 here.
