It looks like Intel is going to officially announce their Pine trail platform in December, just in time for it to be unveiled at CES in January. The rumor is that the Atom 1.67GHz N450 and dual core N510 and N410 are supposed to be the big ticket items at the event. It will be interesting to see the netbooks these powerhouses are running.
The report also suggests a possibly quick decommissioning of the old Atom N270s. Intel’s new Atoms are supposed to provide better battery life as well as smoother video playback, and we’ll definitely look forward to this.
