There are a lot of heavy duty 12″ netbooks popping up nowadays with Nvidia Ion graphics, Windows 7 and big hard drives (MSI Wind 2100 and Eee PC 1201N). Another is the Samsung N510 which is up for preorder in certain places, mostly overseas though. Here are the specs:
- Intel Atom N280 1.67GHz processor
- 250GB hard drive
- 2GB of RAM
- 11.6″ 1366 x 768 monitor
- 802.11 b/g/n wifi
- Windows 7 Home Premium
- 5900mAH battery (6 hours?)
It also includes all of the usual ports, and looks to be one of the new leaders in the new big screen Windows 7 netbook category, except that the price is close to $600 which will deter a lot of people from purchasing this netbook/notebook.
It’s also pretty hard to beat out the Acer Aspire 1410 dual core if you’re looking for a powerful Windows 7 netbook for a good price.
