The Acer Aspire One D255 is the first netbook to feature the dual-core N550 Atom processor that is available for purchase. Somehow the Home Shopping Network secured the rights as the first stop for this netbook, but I’m sure it will be available at other retailers shortly.
It’s listed at $399 and has the following specs:
- 1.5GHz Intel Atom N550 dual core CPU
- 1GB of DDR3 1066MHz memory
- 250GB, 5400RPM hard drive
- 10.1 inch, 1024 x 600 pixel display
- Intel GMA 3150 graphics
- 802.11b/g/n WiFi
- 10/100 Ethernet
- 3 USB 2.0 ports
- VGA output
- 6 cell, 4400mAh battery
It comes in 4 color choices: red, black, aquamarine, or sandsonte (white).
