Laptopmag has one of the first reviews up of the new D260 netbook from Acer. Basically it is cheap, thin, light and gets the job done but also suffers from a low battery life and lackluster performance.
The D260 features the new Intel Atom 1.83GHz N470 processor but is still slower in most tests than netbooks with the older N450 processor. Here are the full specs:

The high points of the D260 are its lightweight and thin design, extra large trackpad and low price ($299).
If you are looking for performance though you will need to look elsewhere. Even with the new processor it still gets a 1366 on PCMark05 which is around 5% lower than the netbook average (which includes netbooks with the N450 processor).
Graphics is the same story, with the D260 scoring a 167 on 3DMark06 which is around 25% lower than the average. Basically you can watch native 720p videos and stream lower quality youtube and hulu videos, but don’t try full HD.
One nice design change is the very large trackpad featuring multitouch.
This in combination with the 93% full-size keyboard makes for a very nice typing experience.
Basically if you’re looking for a netbook with average performance and battery life but that is super thin and lightweight, this may be the netbook for you.
This model with the N470 processor isn’t available yet, but the model with the 1.66GHz N450 is still available from Amazon and others.
