There have been many rumors about a so called “Google” tablet, which the company denies. Well Adobe showcased some of their apps on a cool looking new unnamed tablet (maybe the Google tablet?) at the Web 2.0 Expo in San Francisco. The apps ran amazingly smooth and quick, and if the whole user experience on this tablet is as smooth as the demo it might start eating into some of the iPad sales.
The unnamed multitouch tablet runs the Android OS 2.1 and does a very good job of handling Adobe’s flash and AIR apps. Adobe’s rep said that before 2010 is up the market will be flooded with Android tablets, which will be very cool.
No word yet on pricepoint, hardware, or even who makes this tablet but we’ll keep you posted.
