Asus Eee PC 1215N with dual core processor and Optimus

We have known for awhile that the Asus Eee PC 1215N was coming, and that it would have the new Ion 2 GPU with Optimus switching technology. A new development though is that the 1215N will feature a dual-core 1.8Ghz D525 Atom processor.

Here are the other specs:

  • 2GB DDR3 memory
  • 320GB SATA  HDD
  • 12.1 ” 1366 x 768 LED display
  • 802.11b/g/n wireless
  • Bluetooth 3.0
  • 2 USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 Sleep’n’Charge
  • HDMI and VGA output
  • SD/SDHC/MMC card reader
  • 1.3 megapixel webcam
  • 6-cell lithium ion battery
  • Windows 7 Home Premium

    • These are some pretty beefy specs and look for a price to match, well above the usual 300-400 netbook price range.
