We all know that the weak point on most netbooks is their graphics capabilities. Well the guys that created GMABooster did a little research and found that Intel GMA950 graphics are actually capable of running streaming hd video and most games. The problem is that the version found in netbooks is under-clocked from 400MHz to 133MHz to enhance battery life.
Well they’ve come up with a solution that gives you the option of boosting your GPU back up to 400MHz without adversely affecting your netbook. You just download their software here and give it a whirl. *note that I haven’t tried this myself so I don’t know how good it works, but the guys that wrote the software seem pretty competent so I wouldn’t be too worried.
