Starting today Asus has the Express Gate instant-on OS available for download from their support section here:
Here’s a video of the instant-on OS running on an Asus Eee PC 1008HA (skip to 20 seconds for the bootup)
After you select your Eee PC (Windows 7 only) then pick other- Express Gate. You can download it straight onto your netbook and install.
Once installed the Express Gate utility allows your Eee PC to boot up in around 5 seconds, allowing you to quickly check emails or get online in a hurry.
