The HP Mini 5102 is a very nice netbook, and it’s available from $399 from HP. One interesting option that they have is to add on a capacitive touchscreen display, but it ends up costing $633. So is it worth an extra $233 for a capacitive touchscreen on the 5102?
The answer is no, and Brad at liliputing has put together a video that shows how useless a capacitive touchscreen is on a netbook that isn’t made to function in tablet mode.

HP knows that if you add a touch screen option someone will think it is trendy and buy it. Touchscreens are “in” right now.
But yea, what’s the point? Unless you feel that you don’t get enough exercise. I suppose reaching up to touch the screen could burn a few calories…
