The new dual-core Intel Atom N550 processor started shipping today, and new netbooks will be coming soon from Acer, ASUS, Fujitsu, Lenovo, LG, Samsung, MSI, and Toshiba featuring the faster processor.
The N550 is a dual core processor and runs at 1.5GHz along with support for DDR3 RAM. The first netbook to feature this new processor will be the Acer Aspire One D255 which sports a 10.1″ screen, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 250GB HDD and a six-cell battery.
Look for these new netbooks to become available within the next few weeks.
