There are a few more Asus 1201 models coming, but don’t hold your breath for anything spectacular. The 1201X and 1201K models look to be bargain priced options of the current 1201n chassis (minus the Ion graphics). Here is a side comparison of the different models:
As we already know the 1201n/nl/pn have a dual core Atom N330 processors and Nvidia Ion graphics with HDMI out ports (and spectacular graphics).
As you can see the 1201X shares the same chassis as the 1201T which has a dual core AMD Congo processor and Radeon graphics. Maybe the 1201X will feature a new dual-core processor from AMD?
And last is the 1201K which looks to be a stripped down model of the 1201X, with smaller cooling vents and no HDMI output it looks like this may be a bargain-priced 12″ netbook, maybe even powered by a smartbook processor. We’ll have to wait until more details emerge but we’ll keep you posted.
