The MSI Wind U230 is finally available for order online. You can check out our first impressions here, but the U230 is basically either a very powerful netbook or a sub-notebook, whichever you want to call it. It has a 12.1″ 1366 x 768 HD screen and a beefy CPU/GPU combination for HD video playback and processing power closer to a full laptop than a netbook, while still staying portable.

Also note that there are 2 processor options, the dual core AMD Athlon X2 L335 or the AMD Neo MV-40 for $45 less. They are available in either white or black and the dual-core is listed as pre-order on Amazon but should begin shipping soon. It’s listed at$479.99 and the single core at $434.99.
