The new Sony Vaio P series has just been officially announced around the globe, and Engadget has just put up their review of the sub-notebook. So is the slightly new design and updated components worth $800?
That’s up to you but I’m not going to be ordering one myself anytime soon.
It’s still one of the thinnest and lightest netbooks at only 0.78″ thick and 1.3 pounds, but in order to make it this thin they’ve used an unusual connector for the SSD drive which will make it hard to upgrade. Here are the full specs:
- Display: 8 inch 1,600 x 768
- Processor: Intel Atom Z560 2.13GHz
- HD: 64GB SSD
- 2GB RAM
- Windows 7 Home Premium 32-bit
- WiMAX, 802.11a/b/g/n, Bluetooth
- 3.1 Megapixel camera
The Vaio P is available in 5 colors,
