Toshiba was showing off their newly redesigned Satellite M135 ultrathin laptop at Computex today, and Joanna at Engadget grabbed some hands on time with it. For some reason they’ve covered the palmrests in metal with some weird pattern in it, but besides that they’ve added a nice chiclet keyboard and the trackpad has dedicated left and right buttons.
The 13 inch Toshiba is about 1 inch thick and was actually shown with 2 different processors, one with the Intel Core i5-U520 and another with the AMD Athlon II Neo. This new ultrathin will definitely be one of the fastest available when it gets official.
