Thinking about getting a new netbook but want something a little more powerful? Well the HP Pavilion dm1 isn’t a classic “netbook” because it runs the full Windows 7 Home Premium os and has a dual core AMD E300 processor with an 11.6″ screen, but for $399 it’s only slightly pricier than most netbooks and offers a lot more.

The dm1 will have no problem playing HD videos and the battery is good for almost 10 hours. So if you’re thinking about paying around $350 for a netbook with a 10″ screen, single core processor and 6 hours of battery life why not spend an extra 50 and get a much more capable machine in the DM1.
