Asus has announced today that they will start including USB 3.0 superspeed ports in their new Eee PC’s. It looks like the first ones to include the super fast ports will be the 1015P, 1016P and 1018P.
Mobinova Beam gets the Android OS
The last time we saw the Mobinova Beam smartbook it was running a custom OS built on Windows CE. Well the folks at Laptopmag got their hands on a pre-production model and were pleasantly surprised to see it running on Google’s Android OS.
JooJoo tablet now shipping
The long awaited (by some) JooJoo tablet from FusionGarage is now shipping. You may remember that this tablet features a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N270 processor, Nvidia Ion graphics and a 12.1″ capacitive touchscreen display. It also runs on a custom OS that’s built mainly for web-browsing speed.
LG X300 gets handled, very impressive
We’ve been hearing alot about LG’s new super slim netbook the X300 lately. It was spotted at the FCC back in December and will finally start shipping this month in certain countries (not the US). Well Engadget got to handle a display model today and they were very impressed to say the least.

The Samsung N150 gets more colors
Samsung has added some bright new colors to it’s N150 netbooks. The available colors now include Flamingo Pink, Bermuda Blue and Caribbean Yellow. They still include the N450 processors with Windows 7 and have 7 hour battery lives. You can pick one of the new colors up today at Amazon for $359, while the original colors are still $329.
Viliv tablets and netvertibles coming to Best Buy
It looks like Best Buy is about to start selling a few tablets and convertible tablets made by the Korean company Viliv. The ones they are stocking are slightly out of date, but are pretty cool nontheless.
