The Asus Eee PC 1001P is now selling for only $290, and that includes an 11 hour battery. The 1001P features the new N450 processor with Intel GMA 3150 graphics and matte finishes all around so you won’t have to worry about fingerprints. It has the same keyboard as the 1005HA which is a joy to type on, and of course comes with Windows 7 and the usual specs.
We just told you about the Acer Aspire Pine Trail netbook up for pre-order, now it’s Asus’ turn. Their new 10.1″ Eee PC featuring the N450 processor is called the 1001P, and it’s now available for pre-order from Amazon. Here are the specs:
As you can see the specs are pretty standard except for the battery life. You will start to see the battery lives increasing due to the efficiency of the new N450 processor, and Asus doesn’t disappoint.
This netbook is available in black, blue, white and pink for anywhere from $299 to $339. As you can see the black model has a nice carbon fiber look to it, not the usual glossy.
