The Pixel Qi we first heard about last November was on display at the Computex computer show the other day, and someone there had the bright idea to take it outside and compare it to an iPad in direct sunlight. I bet you can guess which one was easier to read; take a look at the following video to find out.

Apple iPad: extremely awkward to use?
Apple has just launched a commercial for their iPad, which is up for pre-order on March 12th. Here are a few screenshots from the commercial:
Apple iPad tablet PC unveiled
Well Apple has finally unveiled their iPad tablet pc and I can say that I am pretty disappointed. I didn’t have very high hopes to start with but it’s basically just a large iPhone that costs from $500 to $830 dollars.
Here are some pros:
- 10 hour battery life while watching videos
- no problem with HD video
- compatible with all iPhone apps
Here are some low points:
- can’t run multiple apps
- no flash support
- Very expensive
- runs iPhone OS
- just a large iPhone
Steve Jobs has said that Apple won’t make a netbook because they are pieces of junk and they can’t bring themselves to make a product for less than $500 (paraphrased). Well if this is as close to a netbook as Apple comes then that’s fine with me, I’ll stick with an Asus Eee PC 1201N if I want to spend $500 and get something worthwhile.
What it does do well is browse the web, and I’m sure it will make a fun toy for millions of fanboys. Here is a hands on:
