We’ve been hearing alot about LG’s new super slim netbook the X300 lately. It was spotted at the FCC back in December and will finally start shipping this month in certain countries (not the US). Well Engadget got to handle a display model today and they were very impressed to say the least.
The X140 is LG’s latest Pinetrail netbook, and the specs are pretty average. It does include a SIM card slot so you can roam around on 3G wireless broadband. Here are the specs:
No word yet on price or availability, but if you’re a fan of LG netbooks it looks like you’re about to have another option.

An interesting looking netbook was spotted at the FCC site today, it’s LG’s latest Pine Trail netbook and it has some very unique curved edges all around.
It of course has the 1.67GHz N450 processor and all of the usual specs:
This netbook features a chiclet style keyboard, and is very light at only 2.6lbs. It also has an HD 1366 x 768 display packed into 10.1″ which should look pretty nice.
I also like what they’ve done with the direction keys, which have always been hard to use on netbooks. From the looks of it the keyboard looks like it will be one of the best out there.
No word yet on pricing or release data but we’ll keep you posted.
